About us – The original Rowing Club of The Woodlands was established in 1989. Founded by a small group of rowing enthusiasts, RCTW has grown to comprise over 80 members. Our members consist of adult and youth rowers. These rowers enjoy beautiful Lake Woodlands as a venue to train for personal improvement all the way to national-level competition. Previous members are now spread throughout the world. With a humble beginning of only three boats, we now have a fleet of over 24 boats to meet our members needs. Our boathouse is located in Northshore Park. The Rowing Club of The Woodlands is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering an assortment of recreational, intermediate and elite rowing opportunities for any wanting to experience the sport of rowing. We boast members who are weekend rowing enthusiasts all the way to the national-level competitor.
