Years ago, the Board of Directors & Advisors recognized that there were far too many areas of focus for it to pay the individual attention necessary to maintain the success of the club. The solution was simple: committees. The following year, the board established numerous committees designated to their own individual focus. Each committee has a designated leader or chairman to coordinate the work of the committee, as well as to ensure the routine contact with the board.
Any individual, whether a member of the club or not, may be included to at least one committee. Free communication throughout the club is strongly encouraged. If you would like to be included in a committee or learn more about them, please contact the Board of Directors or attend any board meeting.
Executive Committees List
Junior Booster Club Committee
Enables junior parents to contribute to the Junior Program in an organized and effective manner. Responsible for assisting Junior Program Coach, logistical planning for away regattas, fundraising for the junior program, and junior social and community events.

Strategic Planning Committee
Establishes future direction for the club with regard to Boathouse, Corporate Sponsorships, and Fundraising.- Steve Kessler and Mariano Gomez, co-coordinators
Learn-to-Row Committee
Conducts monthly Learn-to-Row sessions May through August, provides private lessons upon request, organizes National Learn-to-Row Day, and assesses/maintains rower competencies.

Equipment Repair and Purchase Committee
Maintains club equipment so it remains in good condition. Conducts annual equipment needs analysis and prioritizes equipment purchases. Focus includes boats, oars, safety launch, and trailer.

Boathouse Maintenance Committee
Assures club facilities are maintained in good condition, including interior and exterior of club bays and docks. Organizes periodic work parties to clean and refurbish the facilities.

Regatta Committee
Organizes activities for home regattas and ensures regattas are successful for visiting teams and our club rowers.

Sports Apparel Committee
Orders club uniforms worn during competition and other RCTW clothing and gear. Also responsible for T-shirt production for home regattas.
