What is Rowing Club of the Woodlands?

RCTW is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to promoting rowing in The Woodlands community by providing affordable rowing opportunities and excellent coaching.

I’ve never rowed before. How can I get started?

Our Learn to Row Class is the best way for people with no experience to get involved in the sport of rowing. Class participants receive instruction in sculling (rowing with two smaller oars, one in each hand) People who successfully complete this course can become members and take advantage of all of our programming.

I’m an experienced rower. How do I join?

People with previous rowing experience can join RCTW at any time. The coaching staff will evaluate your skill level and give you an introduction to RCTW’s procedures, policies, and navigating Lake Woodlands. You can set up a private lesson to assess your skill level so you can get on the water.

What does it cost to be a member?

Please contact the club to find out the various costs to join RCTW.  Membership includes access to all facilities and equipment if you are a master and excellent coaching if you are a Junior (high-school student)
