Lake Woodlands Championships Course Map
The Lake Woodlands Championships, presented by the Rowing Club of The Woodlands, is raced on Lake Woodlands. Race lengths are 1000 meters and 1500 meters, depending on the event. While the RCTW will do everything in its power to keep the course clear, please be cautious of kayaks, canoes, and other water boats.
Race traffic will enter at the docks near the Rowing Club of The Woodlands. Traffic will then warm up proceeding southward. Boats will then cautiously turns across the lake and turn around to face northward. Starters will then organize the boats into their categories and launch the flight. All races will race northward towards the boathouse and conclude nearly 50 meters before the bridge. All boats will then row underneath the Lake Woodlands bridge, cut across the lake going westward, and row back through the bridge to the docks.
