What is the Rowing Club of The Woodlands?
Rowing Club of The Woodlands, Inc. is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation providing recreational and competitive rowing opportunities for The Woodlands and surrounding communities.

How can I get started?
The Rowing Club of the Woodlands requires individuals with no rowing experience to take the Learn To Row Program, which is specifically designed to give each beginner the tools to become a rower - whether their goal is to become a recreational, weekend rower or to row at a competitive level. I have previous rowing experience. How do I join?
Individuals with previous rowing experience can join the Rowing Club of the Wooodlands anytime without taking the Learn To Row Program. A member of the Board of Directors will evaluate your rowing stroke, care with the sculls, and safety and assign a skill level. Also, they will introduce you to the Rowing Club of The Woodlands' procedures, polices, and traffic pattern of Lake Woodlands. Please contact a member of the Board of Directors to be checked out.

What is the cost of membership?
Membership of the Rowing Club of The Woodlands costs $250 for a tweleve (12) month cylce. If you join during the middle of the cycle, you will receive a pro-rated discount for the remaining months in that period. Club membership allows access to the boathouse and use of club equipment at any time (singles, doubles, or quad sculling boats).
